IF HE CAN CONTROL.

Diomedes was a man on control of himself. He was a good warrior and a great friend. But when he was wounded and a god gave him more power, he was roaring up. Everywhere he went, he killed. Almost like a lunatic running wild. He killed many of them, he killed them fiercely but what if he didn’t?

Diomedes was an important factor to the kills of Achaians. I think he was the one who killed the most for the Greeks side. Whenever he kills, his rage continues. But if he didn’t, he would be killed. Diomedes, along with Odysseus, are generals of the war. So they raided and killed more. Diomedes was once again indestructible. But if he wasn’t given power, he would have been dead and the Greeks would lose.

Achilles, Agamemnon, Hector, Paris, Priam, Odysseus aren’t the only warriors with greatness. There are these kind of characters in the background that helps. But Diomedes is already overtaken by power, he can change everything that can happen. I believe it.

PATROCLOS, THE MAN BESIDE ACHILLES

In times of desperate measure, is there someone you could run to for help? Is there someone who would nurse you when you’re inches away from death? If you ask the might Achilles these questions, you will get an undoubted answer: Patroclos. He always obeyed Achilles and guided him if needed. He aided him when he was angry with the Achaians and even with the eagerness for battle, he waited for the right time to ask a favor from Achilles. He is indeed a noble man, a great warrior, and a true friend.

When every warrior in the battlefield fought not just for the country but also for fame and power, Patroclos only wanted to fight to save what he believes righteous. He even donned Achilles’ armour to prove it. He was an onslaught on the battlefield for he slashed through his enemies like butter. Alas, he met Prince Hector, a man who could match Achilles’ strength. They fought in combat, and Patroclos lost. There he was revealed to only don Achilles’ armor.

Because of that kill, Achilles was enraged and ignited to return to the battlefield. The killing of Patroclos made him return because he did not just lost an excellent spearmen, but he lost a great friend. That is how Patroclos means to him. If you had a friend who would do the same for you, you are lucky indeed. For not only war and country brought these two together, but their friendship and love for each other. Patroclos was a noble man and an excellent warrior. It is hard for one to find someone who could do what Patroclos did for a friend.

HERA, THE GODDESS OF MARRIAGE

text describing the image

“The Olympians are no longer divided. Hera has now bent them all by her entreaties, and troubles hang over the Trojans” this is the quote in book two that I read that makes me say that Hera is not fair/equal whenever she goes for battle. It is clearly stated that Hera did everything to make the Trojans be in trouble.

So, I beg to disagree with this statement because of her actions in books 1-5. Hera was not with the side of the Trojans so this means that she is not fair with the Trojans. Here is another scene that proves she not equal whenever she goes for battle.

Another scene in book four made me believe that she is not fair whenever she goes for battle. It is when she wants the Trojans to break the oath. Hera knows that when the Trojans breaks the oath, Gods will be on the side of the Menalaus’ army. With these actions, I can say that Hera is not equal whenever she goes for battle.
